oh right, the song. well, its definitely got that freaky feel to it. The thing is, I've only ever smoked pot. And that sucked. All that happened was i got tired... REALLY tired. and a little dizzy. I wants me sum hallucinogens!

fuck, off topic again... so yeah i like it but some parts it felt like you just went for all FX and the same melody repeating over and over. but then the strings (maybe synth leads?) quietly crept into the tune and i was satisfied once more!

so 5/5 and 10/10

This song doesn't really make too much sense if you listen to it sober; just sounds like a bunch of fucked up FX and other shit. As soon as I took another listen to this song (when I was high, of course) the entire song seemed to make sense. You hear things that you usually wouldn't... sounds can detach or attach themselves to rhythms or seemingly even frequencies. The best way I can put it is that the delay effect I have on the violin in the introduction feels like it crawled inside of my chest when I heard it :)

It's a sweet song (even though it loops perfectly). Reminds me a little about Secret of Mana and Castlevania aswell.

Loving this. It's only flaw is probably that its all midi. But it still sounds unbelievably good for being just general midi bank stuff.

Hmmm...

It's a great song overall, but those guitars really sound awful, no offense. I think they need a bit less on the mid side and maybe more on the highs and presence.

Liked it though its not really my cup o' tea.

Too much reverb on the guitars, the snare sounds a little like plastic and the vox need better mixing...

Gah, that said this shit is fucking awesome. The bands skill is obvious and you guys just need a proper demo recording and you can get signed, no doubt.

Send me the midi...

This sounds great in basic midi, but send it to me, and I'll beef it up with some EWQL stuff and sequenced guitars. Check out my Ultima Eternus tracks to get a glimpse of what resources I have on the comp. It's all computer made, I never used a single real instruments. Only a midi keyboard at one point.

General rock.

This is as far from punk as I can imagine within the constrains of traditional rock music.

It's an ok song, but it needs a severe amount of remixing and mastering. The clipping is waaay over the top and the instruments drown in eachother.

good luck with GH4 though. would be cool to see your stuff there.

Well...

To be quite honest... I hate it. It's recorded with pristine quality, the vocals are well performed, but the performance itself, the melodies and general mood it implies is all too much like general skate college rock crap...

I truly hate it.
