Far from useable.

You seem relatively skilled using a guitar but all the skill in the world doesn't change the fact that the extremely poor recordingquality and lack of any backing instruments (drums/bass/etc) completely undermine your very valid attempt. Work on the recording quality first and foremost. I suggest getting a pod and combining that with a computer using a good soundcard and a sequencer of your choice. Then you'll be able to actually upload some very useful material.

Fuck yeah!

By far some of the best metal on NG! This deserves nothing less than 5 / 5 from me!

Hahah, oh my god!

I can't stop thinking about "Dad's Home" when I hear this song! Damn you, flash portal! ;D

Good shit tho, keep it up, man! ;D

Sonofkirk responds:

hahah !!!!!
lol fucken daad's home !!
thanks !!

Wow!

This shit kicks ballsack! The guy before was right about the mixing but your skill on guitar overshines that tiny flaw. ;D
Even tho the synths are pretty much midi it still gives off a really nice vibe. Keep it coming, fellow metalhead!

Sonofkirk responds:

Thank you for the cool review pal ! Did ya listen to the first part ? If not then go ahead you won't be disepointed ! Thanks for the constructive critisism, m8 !

Yeah!

Very nice work with the guitars. I enjoyed this one alot.

Sonofkirk responds:

^_^ Thanks a lot mate !!

Damn...

This is some quality material right here. The piano is a bit monotonous but that actually comes across quite well during the first minute-and-a-half.

The volume of the brass is a bit too loud but not a major problem. Maybe reducing it two or three dB would do the trick.

Anyway, its got a very good foundation and this is surely a great addition to any flashauthor out there. Excellent work, NightHawk.

Pretty good...

But the lead AND rythm guitars go outside the original melodie and create disharmony in an otherwise well performed tune. Good to see other fans of the great soundtracks in the Megaman X series, tho. ;D

DarKsidE555 responds:

Objection! Sry to disagree with you on this one buddy, but they DON'T go outside the original melody. The leads just sound that strange EVEN in the original. But it's another thing with synth, because synth are to 100 % accurate other than a guitar wank arround. I noticed the strangeness of the original tune, since I listened to the seperated layers over and over but it's just how it is in this one.

Not just a fan of the X Soundtracks but a big fan in general. ;) Thanks for the review!
