Srsly...

What the hell? Mass 0-voters on your ass or something? This might not be the best song ever, but its got enough for atleast a 3 average. Gave you a five to even it out atleast a little.

The vocals could've been tighter but they still make the tune stand out as something a little different. The drumsamples are awful but give it sort of an oldschool synth-ish feeling. Good stuff overall, make more ;D

BreakingFaces responds:

Thanks :)

Neat

Very nice recreation of the original. However, imo, if you're gonna do a cover, try to make it your own. thats just me though. ;D

Well, anyway, the drumkit could use some humanization. its most audible with the toms and cymbals but still. Guess I'm a little squared into my own way of doing things, but thats my thoughts on this anyway. Can't complain on mixing, or the content. This song is a pure winner. =)

speedmetalmessiah responds:

Yeah, the drums could have been better, especially the fills, but I was really tired of making them since I sat down and did it in one go. I also agree about making covers your own. In this one though my brother and I were just really jamming to it, instead of recording seriously. We may do another version at some point and add cool licks and whatnot. Thanks for the review Lashmush, it's always nice to hear people critique my tunes.

I know this song...

Omg, I've seen an animeseries with this as the titletrack. Made my soul weep everytime I heard it.

Very good voice. You need a better recording setup, but your voice is beautiful.

If I had caek, you could have some.

LadyArsenic responds:

I've heard this "You need better equipment" advice more than plenty of times. I respect your concern, but heh, I'm not exactly Thirston Hower here. It'll take me a long time to find the kind of money for professional equipment, unfortunately. Thank you for your kind words, and I like cake!

Wow.

You really are quite superior at these mystic (or perhaps magical) yet dark and quiet, but also calm and hopeful... Wonderful work indeed.

Keep it up, man. ;D

Deathkavaderva responds:

yea kinda suit my personality
Thanks again man

hahah... oh wow

serious business as usual, dude.

busting radiator caps ovah heeaaaah!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

If I could type the hype, I'd respond in kind. haha. But I don't know how. So...thanks man, you rule.\m/

Great vocals!

Holy fuckbeans, thats good growling right there... Some EQ work on the guitars and drums might be needed but god damn, you've got it going on, man.

CWN responds:

Hehe, I know what you mean.
Working on a new song, improved the sound of the drums and used some different recording techniques for the guitars... Oh well! Still a kick ass song :D

WTF?!

I think you've been attacked by 0-voters because this song deserves WAY more than that score! I gave you a five because I loved the emotions in this one and the clean blend of orchestral and electronic. Seems like yetis have very deep and epic dreams when getting high. ;D

Deathkavaderva responds:

Yes I think we all know that 0 voters are infant minded little pricks whose lives have less meaning than the words I am typing but what are ya gonna do. Thanks for the review, man. Hey cool I'm on your favourites :D

Well...

Aside from it being a bit too close to the original, it lacked punch. I mean, this is the battle with the friggin Atma-weapon! The huge magical half-machine entity! For such a battle, there needs to to a certain amount of impact involved.

For instance:
- Timpanis
- Sharper strings. (The envelopes when new notes where hit were a bit too soft)
- Some double basses or lowoctave cellos would help carry the tune.
- Lastly, add a light reverb to the oboe or whatever that midi thingy in the start is. ;D

Otherwise, I like seeing fellow fans of FF6 give tribute to it. Nice work overall. ;D

MooMan911 responds:

You are right though. It does lack alot of punch. Also, my music program has no Timpanis. :( And I cannot make the strings sharper. Double bass, I probably could have done that, but I guess I wasn't thinking of it. And an oboe, I don't have one but, thanks for reviewing! :D

Fuck yeah!

Your vocals are really improving nicely, man! With some more energy behind the verse there, you will become a metalgod on NG! ;D

Loved the distortion, even though it breaks the traditional midfocused loveliness of shredding. ;D

Keep it up, friend!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man. I don't much care for my smooth voice on metal stuffs, but for wanking...its pretty fun! Wish I had more time to take care of some other serious shits!;) Thanks for the review and support man\m/

Entertaining to say the least.

It really lets the mind wander and the clean chimes really make a difference throughout the whole piece. Very good merge of electronic and symphonic styles.

Thumbs up. Five of them.

Deathkavaderva responds:

Thanks!
