Holy fucking jesus...

I'm truly glad I wore headphones will listening to this! Just the panning in this one is great. I love how the song plays with your ears, making you think its going half as fast as it is (or vice versa).

Id say a little more 150-300Hz action to the snare and this is golden... maybe a little reverb too, but otherwise, veeery nice work dude. Great industrial feel to it.

Well...

Aside from it being a bit too close to the original, it lacked punch. I mean, this is the battle with the friggin Atma-weapon! The huge magical half-machine entity! For such a battle, there needs to to a certain amount of impact involved.

For instance:
- Timpanis
- Sharper strings. (The envelopes when new notes where hit were a bit too soft)
- Some double basses or lowoctave cellos would help carry the tune.
- Lastly, add a light reverb to the oboe or whatever that midi thingy in the start is. ;D

Otherwise, I like seeing fellow fans of FF6 give tribute to it. Nice work overall. ;D

MooMan911 responds:

You are right though. It does lack alot of punch. Also, my music program has no Timpanis. :( And I cannot make the strings sharper. Double bass, I probably could have done that, but I guess I wasn't thinking of it. And an oboe, I don't have one but, thanks for reviewing! :D

Fuck yeah!

Your vocals are really improving nicely, man! With some more energy behind the verse there, you will become a metalgod on NG! ;D

Loved the distortion, even though it breaks the traditional midfocused loveliness of shredding. ;D

Keep it up, friend!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man. I don't much care for my smooth voice on metal stuffs, but for wanking...its pretty fun! Wish I had more time to take care of some other serious shits!;) Thanks for the review and support man\m/

Might've voted higher...

If there was actually some kind of synchronization between the instruments. And perhaps an actual attempt at mixing and mastering the song. Try harder on that next time.

Entertaining to say the least.

It really lets the mind wander and the clean chimes really make a difference throughout the whole piece. Very good merge of electronic and symphonic styles.

Thumbs up. Five of them.

Deathkavaderva responds:

Thanks!

Wow

This would work excellently as music in Freelancer. Funny how I kind of get Bomberman Hero vibes from it aswell. That game wasnt really good but the music was and so is yours. Great work.

Pretty nice...

Neat rendition of "The Scars of Time" from Chrono Cross. Efficiently made into a loop and the background electrorythm was nice too. Just didn't fully hit the spot with me I'm afraid.

Good work, nevertheless.

4/5 from me.

Ooooh...

Not too many hardcore artists on NG. Good to hear some oldschool shit. ;D

Oh, I feel like taking a swim...

Some really nice shit here. Gives very strong Egyptian vibes. Only thing that could've turned me off was that the kick was lacking that 50hz - 200hz "oomph" I so adore. But hey, still doesn't stop me from giving this 5/5 and 10/10.

Keep 'em coming, bro.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

ahhh...Now I finally understand! I'm not really SUPER pleased with my kick either. I liked my old kick better ...but its such a pain in the ass to incorporated to my new EZDrummer stuffs. More time consuming. I hate time. There is never enough of it.

Thanks for the kick ass review, man!\m/

Great work

This is pretty much flawless apart from some of the high notes being a bit off.

I don't really enjoy this kind of metal but it's good work nevertheless.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Yeah, I always manage to miss notes on occasion.

Thanks for the review.
